Wellen Family Dental opened its doors in 2025, which makes us one of the newest dental offices in North Port. What is not new is the experience behind the chair. Dr. Annie Smith has been practicing dentistry for over eight years, and our assistants and hygienists spent years in the field before joining this team. You get a brand new office with modern equipment and a schedule that is not overloaded, along with a clinical team that has already seen and solved just about everything.
Opening our own practice was a deliberate decision. Dr. Smith spent years working inside large corporate dental groups, and while she gained a tremendous amount of clinical knowledge in those years, she also saw a model of dentistry she did not want to be part of long term. Wellen Family Dental exists so that dentistry can be practiced the way it is meant to be practiced, with genuine care for the patient sitting in front of us.

Every procedure completed at Wellen Family Dental is backed by a one-year warranty. It is a written commitment that we stand behind the quality of what we place, and it applies to restorative treatments, including fillings, crowns, bridges, implants and dentures. If something covered under that warranty does not hold up the way it should within the year, we take care of it.
